124 condos in the Jersey City downtown area were sold between February and April 30 this year, of these 45.96% or 57 were sold at 100% or higher of ask price. Of the condos sold the highest percentage paid over asking was 112%, while the average percentage remained constant at 99% of list to sale price.
The highest price paid for a condo in the downtown area that sold over asking price was $1,350,000 or 104% of the asking price of $1,300,000 for a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom duplex at 108 Grand Street. The condo sold in just 2 days on the market.
