Motivated buyers are still taking advantage of low interest rates and buying condos in downtown Jersey City.
11 condos changed ownership within the last week, among them 1 at the Trump Towers 88 Morgan Street and 2 units at the Portofino building 65 2nd Street. The Trump sale, a cash deal went for 96% of its list price while the Portofino condos both went for 98% of list price.
The highest price sale was at the Sugar House at 714 Washington Street, a 1400 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bath which was sold in just 16 days at 99.6% of its list price. Other condos sold included units at 77 Hudson, 311 Washington, and Dixon Mills 227 Christopher Columbus.
