Condos in the Jersey City downtown area are now taking longer to sell compared to a couple months ago when the pace of sales left buyers with one month’s supply of inventory in any given month . With winter approaching the pace of condo sales has slowed to 1.7 months supply of inventory. Currently there are 87 condos listed for sale in the Jersey City downtown area, and 51 condo sales pending.
The median days on the market for condos listed for sale in Jersey City downtown is 16.
Condo sales in the downtown area remain significantly better than condo sales in the rest of Jersey City. In Journal Square there are 2.8 months supply of inventory, in The Heights 2.6, Bergen Lafayette 5.0 and Greenville 4.6 months supply.
