Crystal Point Jersey City downtown has broken its per sq. ft record price set just 2 weeks ago. Closing just 4 days ago, unit # 3505, only 17 days on the market, set a new 2015 sold price record, closing at $1365.67 per sq. ft. The 1371 sq.ft. unit was a cash sale. It surpassed the record set earlier this year of $1141 per sq. ft. for unit 3105 which sold in April. That condo was on the market for 55 days.
Earlier this month unit # 904, a 1050 sq.ft. condo closed at $938 per sq.ft. This unit spent no time on the market and sold for cash as soon as it hit.
8 units at Crystal Point, located at 2 2nd Street, Jersey City downtown condos changed ownership this year. Other sales include: #3207 @ $894 per sq. ft.; unit # 1206 @ $859 per sq.ft.; unit #1601 @ $835: unit # 1501 @ $840: and unit # 2008 @$ 828 per sq. ft. 4 of the 8 units sold this year are cash sales.
Crystal Point boasts exclusive water views with no land separating the building from the Hudson River and uninterrupted views of Manhattan. It is one of a very few buildings in Jersey City downtown that have this privilege and the newest on the market.
