The holiday season is upon us but judging from the prices of the most recently sold condos in the Jersey city downtown area the pace of sales has not lessened.
Of the 9 condos sold during week ending November 30, six of them sold between 98% and 102% of sale to list price. Among these is a condo in the Mandalay building on 2nd Street that went for 99% of list price. The Mandalay building is a much sought after waterfront highrise with outdoor pool, exercise room, 24 hour concierge, play area, marina and community room.
Condos at Park Two 74 on 6th Street and Fulton’s Landing on Essex Street achieved 100% and above list price. A Gulls Cove condo on Marin Boulevard also went for 99% of list price and one at the “A” building on Washingotn Street achieved 97% of asking price.
