The median price of condos sold in the Jersey City downtown area (zip code 07302) in October this year has increased by 11.13% over the median price of condos sold in October 2013. In October 2014 the median price of a closed condo sale was $539,000, in October 2013 the price was $485,000. The highest median price for this year was achieved in July when closed sales reached $635,000. During 2013 the median priced reached its highest in June at $513,500.
The median sold price year to date January to October 2014 increased by 12.37% over January to October 2013, that is $545,000 this year compared to $485,000 the previous year. This increase was consistent with the 12 month comparison November 2013 to October 2014 which saw a 12.50% median closed sale increase over the same period one year prior November 2012 to October 2013.
